Terms of Service

By accessing or using SteadyGig (including our website, mobile application, or any related services) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use SteadyGig.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.

Age requirement

SteadyGig is available to users who are at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

Account responsibility

Accounts are non-transferable. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must keep your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

What SteadyGig does

SteadyGig is a marketplace that connects event planners, organisations, and individuals ("Clients") with musicians, DJs, and live performers ("Artists"). We facilitate the connection and payment. We do not directly provide entertainment services.

Your agreement with Artists

When you confirm a booking, you enter into a service agreement directly with the Artist. While SteadyGig facilitates and protects the transaction, the underlying performance agreement is between Client and Artist.

How payments work

Payments are collected securely through the platform at the time of booking. Artists are paid after successful completion of the event. SteadyGig charges a platform fee on each transaction, which is displayed clearly before you confirm.

Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy, available in your account dashboard. Cancellations within the allowed window may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on timing and Artist agreement.

Things you may not do

You may not use SteadyGig for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to post false or misleading information, or to share content that infringes intellectual property rights. Off-platform payment arrangements with users you met through SteadyGig are strictly prohibited.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harms the platform or its users, without prior notice and without liability.

Artist responsibility

Artists are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, portfolios, pricing, and availability. SteadyGig does not endorse any Artist and is not responsible for the quality of performances delivered.

Review integrity

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. Fake reviews, defamatory content, or reviews posted for competitive advantage are strictly prohibited and will be removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

SteadyGig content

All content on SteadyGig, including the logo, design, code, and written content, is owned by SteadyGig Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

Your uploaded content

By uploading content to SteadyGig (such as photos, audio samples, or videos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and promote that content on the platform for as long as it remains uploaded.

No warranties

SteadyGig is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. We are not liable for the conduct, performances, or representations of Artists or Clients on the platform.

Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to these terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to SteadyGig in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SteadyGig Inc. is incorporated. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
