Back to homeIntroduction
SteadyGig ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our platform to book or perform as a live artist.
By accessing or using SteadyGig, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you join our waitlist, create an account, or make a booking, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment details. Performers additionally provide profile content including photos, audio or video samples, and location data.
Information collected automatically
We automatically collect data about how you interact with SteadyGig: your device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and actions taken on the platform. This helps us improve performance and personalise your experience.
How We Use Your Information
Providing and operating the platform
We use your information to match event planners with performers, process payments, send booking confirmations and reminders, and resolve disputes between users.
Communications and marketing
We may use your email to send product updates, new feature announcements, and occasional promotional content. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email we send.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your data
SteadyGig does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share information only as needed to operate the platform, for example sharing a performer's public profile with clients who book them, or transmitting payment details to our secure payment processor.
Legal disclosures
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SteadyGig, our users, or the public.
